Karen Miller, LCSW
Karen K. Miller, LCSW is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Karen received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Bellarmine University and later attended the Kent School of Social Work at the University of Louisville where she earned her Masters in Social Work degree with a specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy. Karen has served as President and Board member of the Kentucky Marriage and Family Therapy Association. Her past experience has been in a Catholic school, as an in-home therapist for foster care families, and as an outpatient therapist for the Bingham Clinic. Her past work with children and adolescents in foster care led her to obtain a Post-Masters Certificate in Therapy with Post-Adoptive Families from Portland State University. Karen specializes in working with children and adolescents and their families, helping them realize their relationship and communication patterns and conflicts. Karen utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, trauma-focused treatment, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Narrative Therapy modalities.
